CRESSY
Nicholas V. Cressy is a second-generation attorney who was born in New Orleans and raised in Mandeville, Louisiana. He earned his Bachelor of Arts at Louisiana State University. After completing his undergraduate education, Nicholas attended Loyola New Orleans College of Law.

Building on that foundation, Mr. Cressy partnered with his law school classmate Eliza James to practice civil litigation with a focus on environmental litigation, personal injury, workers' compensation law, and natural disaster claims. Together, they have recovered millions of dollars for their clients.
Mr. Cressy is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, the Middle District of Louisiana , and the United States Supreme Court.
A lifelong resident of Mandeville, Mr. Cressy gives back to the community he calls home by serving as a commissioner on the City of Mandeville Planning and Zoning Commission.
Raised in Mandeville, Louisiana, Mr. Cressy graduated from Mandeville High School in 2003 before earning his Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana State University. He went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University College of Law in 2013.
Mr. Cressy's legal career began during his third year of law school, where he represented indigent persons accused of crimes in Orleans Parish through the Stuart H. Smith Law Clinic at Loyola New Orleans College of Law. It was there that he first began working alongside his future partner, Eliza James.
After graduating, Mr. Cressy continued serving his community as a felony trial attorney at the St. Tammany Parish Public Defender's Office, where he gained thousands of hours of courtroom and trial experience.
